I’m a working mother of two (Hudson and Scarlett). Even as I write the title of this I wonder if this is what defines me now?
While I would like to think it doesn’t, realistically that’s me in a nutshell.
I am married to my best friend, he’s a bricklayer. I have two children Hudson who is a very busy 6 year old and Scarlett my baby girl, who is 4. I work part time and juggle my husbands business admin.
The reason I wanted to create this blog is that I feel my whole life books, TV, people around you, the Internet and mother’s groups paint the picture of being pregnant and a mother in a very different light than what the reality is. It’s all glossy, fuzzy and perfect. While there are some amazing and perfect moments, there is a lot happening behind the scenes that most don’t tell you about.
I want to honestly share my stories, tips, go to recipes, make you laugh, cry and hopefully entertain you. I love my children and husband dearly, but we have certainly had our share of hard days. There is no ‘code’ or ‘formula’ to being a great mum or wife you just blindly muddle through and do your best. At the end of the day, as long as everyone is happy, fed and healthy my job is done.

Hi Rachelle,
By way of introduction, my name is Teigan and I’m a freelance journalist/writer.
One of my clients, Working Mothers Connect, would like to do a story on you and your business, with the express aim of inspiring other would-be Mumpreneurs to enjoy the success you have.
Please do let me know if you have time for a short interview. I’m also of course happy to send through questions via email, as well as send you the final story prior to publication.
Working Mothers Connect has an active audience of over 20,000 mums nationally, so hopefully the story can help you to reach more customers also.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Kind regards,
Teigan
